The Department of Civil Engineering offers testing of building materials and surveillance of all common branches of constructions.
 
Fields of Work
  • Mechanical-technological examination of building materials
  • Chemical investigations of inorganic building materials and of bituminous substances for street building.
  • Building supervision acknowledged body for testing, surveillance and certification - with the possibility of signing contracts for surveillance and certification of building materials, components and constructions. The acknowledgement extends to nearly all kinds of building materials - from cements to prefab houses.
  • Acknowledged notified body of RAP Stra for suitability tests, control tests, arbitration tests, verification of suitability and external quality control of mineral and bituminous building materials and mixtures, concrete and its products for the street- and bridge constructions as well as recycling building materials.
  • Approval- and surveillance test marking for building materials acknowledged by the DIBt in Berlin for porous and light concrete, load-bearing parts of concrete and reinforced concrete, wall building elements, outfall and form pieces from fiber cement, concrete additives, inorganic binders.
  • Concrete test center F concrete BII on building sites, concrete, reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete prefabricates, ready mixed concrete, aggregates, concrete additives.
  • Inspection of concrete renovation activities by order of the Quality Surveillance Organization for Concrete Renovation, Bremen-Low Saxony.
  • Expert activities for the assessment of building materials, constructions and structural damages.
  • Research and development intentions on the fields of conventional building and recycling materials.
