Building products according to State architectural control (national area):

In the state architectural control one differs building materials as regulated, non-regulated and others. The usability is the result of

Regulated building materials according to the technial rules presented in the list of building rules A, part 1.
Non-regulated building materials according to:

Regulated or non-regulated building materials can be used only if their usability is approved in the certificate of accordance and they have therefore the signs of accordance (A-signs).

Building materials with harmonized standards or the harmonized European approval on the basis of the building materials law (European area):

The building products, which are put in circulation and bargained according to the law of building products (BuildPL) will be accepted in the list of the building rules B. The CE sign is regarded as a certification for it.
The MPA Bremen is an acknowledged notified body according to the BuildPL.


Others building materials:
On the basis of technical rules the MPA Bremen offers the examination and surveillance of others building products, which are out of the regulated area of the State architectural control and don't need the certification of the usability from the building authorities.
